dreaming of a common language

dry-hopped saison with hallertau tradition, tettnanger, and saaz hops

6.7% ABV

Lightly tart with loads of citrus and tropical fruit character layered over soft floral and pepper notes.

Dreaming of a Common Language is a 6.7% ABV saison dry-hopped with Hallertau Tradition, Tettnanger, and Saaz Hops. Despite the abundance of old world hops, the fermentation character of this beer is the star of the show, presenting with loads of citrus and tropical fruit character. Aromas of tangerine, key lime zest, and ripe pineapple are front and center while soft lily-like floral notes and hints of vanilla and coconut linger in the background. On the palate, flavors of fresh-squeezed orange juice, sweet nectarine flesh, and pineapple upside-down cake lead the charge followed by notes of white tea, lemongrass, and pink peppercorn. Bitterness and acidity are balanced and light in intensity, with a medium-light body and softly-scrubbing carbonation.
